Street Art Way Below the Street


A vast new exhibition space opened in New York City this summer, with a show 18 months in the making. On view are works by 103 street artists from around the world, mostly big murals painted directly onto the gallery’s walls.

New Cement Eclipses: Oil Puddle Death March




Here’s latest from Isaac Cordal’s conceptual miniature series Cement Eclipses, new work for the same dirty old world disaster. A parasite suit stands on a London CCTV camera, tiny men follow the leader to their watery graves and the saddest little bureaucrat sinks into melted cement. The gas-masked wedding cake topper is the latest from his functional cement objects. And by function, we mean good for throwing at Earth haters.
