Between recording sessions — both solo and with his the xx bandmates — and dates from a world tour, Jamie xx has kept pretty busy. Most recently, it has been announced that he xx’s main beat-maker will be “remixing the thirteen tracks from [Gil Scott-Heron's 2010 album] I’m New Here“. This video for “NY is Killing Me,” directed by Iain Forsyth & Jane Pollard, is the first taste from Jamie xx’s Gil Scott-Heron remix album, We’re New Here, out February 21, 2011 via Young Turks.
